This event is specifically for Girl Scout Cadettes and Juniors to work with Christen McCafferty, a licensed New Jersey Department of Education woodshop teacher and carpenter. She will be providing instruction on carpentry and building pinewood derby cars start to finish, excluding the paint/final decorations. Only 25 students are permitted to participate in this program due to the hands on nature of the program. Once the class is filled, no additional students may be accommodated.

The cost is $25 which includes all materials used during the program, including the derby car, the Cadette Woodworker badge or Junior Tinker Badge, and a honorarium to the instructor.
