Girl Scouts honor veterans

More than 325 Girl Scouts of Cranford participated in a coordinated effort to honor the 86 Cranford residents who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their country.

At 10:00 a.m. on Memorial Day, the uniformed Girl Scouts appeared on their front steps, porches, and lawns of their homes to recite the Pledge of Allegiance and held signs depicting the names of the veterans.
